Kathleen, a lonely 18-year-old girl, gets out of the care system and moves into an old house that belonged to her mother. Her life feels empty until she meets Dee, a neighbour with a husband and son. Kathleen’s affection for her new friend eventually turns into an obsession which she struggles to overcome.
