Moscow, early 1970's. The militia major Ivan Cherkasov and his team are investigating the brutal robberies of shops and collectors by bandits dressed in police uniform and coming to the scene of their crimes with a police car. During the robbery, criminals brutally shoot all witnesses from the machine guns.
