　　抗日战争时期，中华大地四万万人民的命运被战火所改变，来自山东的田家三兄弟也无法例外，他们各自经历着前所未有的家国纠葛。大哥田大林（张涵予饰）作为国军神枪手百发百中，却无法改变所在部队全军覆没的命运，肩负战友的嘱托，大林辗转来至北平，在命运的引领下一步步成为令日本人胆战心惊的锄奸团杀手；独自闯荡北平的普通厨子二林（刘烨饰）偶然救助地下党人，回两句日语又一身胆识的他被对方相中，看在钱的份上他斗胆打入日本餐厅福田料理的情报人员，在最危险的地方小心周旋；泼皮无赖的三林（黄渤饰）带着老娘上北平投奔二哥，期间结识了欢喜冤家宋亚娟（黄小蕾饰），更阴差阳错进入黑帮，凭借小聪明逐步上位。　　三个兄弟，三条不同人生路，却朝着同一个目标前行……
