The series follows inquiry agent and criminologist Fredrika Bergman when she accepts a position at the Stockholm Police. She's recruited to their special investigation's unit, and is anything but welcomed by the department. However, her different background and exceptional talent gives her a unique perspective that repeatedly helps the unit solve their cases.
